While Zion Congregational church historically traces its roots to the early settlers of this land and particularly to the Puritans, its present existence is traced to the year 1922 when 50 German speaking, charter members joined together to worship, praise and learn from God. From those early days until the present, it has been a church which believed in holding to the Faithful Word of God, the Bible, as being infallible and all-sufficient for a Christian's lifestyle. We believe God said exactly what He meant and meant what He said.

Our worship service strives to be a time when through the medium of the spoken word, the printed Word and the Word set to music, we seek to praise and worship God as the sovereign one of all Eternity. We are traditional in our service singing hymns and some choruses, with joy and thanksgiving to God for all He is doing.

All pastoral messages are soundly Bible based and relate to God's expectations for the Believer's lifestyle, but never to exclusion of the Gospel of Salvation. Most of us remember when we heard the Good News and the life change which came with our personal acceptance of it.

We invite you to come, visit, enjoy and worship with us. Our morning service begins at 10:15am. The Worship time is preceded by Sunday School at 9:00am, with classes for all age groups. There is always someone in our Nursery to care for the younger children.
